You can never go wrong with green bell pepper, jalapeno, garlic, onion, bay leaves and lots of good Cajun spices.
Directions:
Steam 3 cups of rice.
Brown four ounces of ground pork (or pork breakfast sausage) in 2 tbs oil.
Add 2 tsp salt, (stir, but don’t overstir).
Add 1/4 cup chicken stock, simmer until all liquid is gone.
Add 3 tbs D.a.T. SaUcE, 1 diced jalepeno, 1 small diced onion,
1/4 cup chopped celery, 2 garlic gloves minced, pinch of oregano. Add 1 cup of chicken broth. Simmer until veggies are soft, add in rice and stir. Garnish with parsley.
